In Outlook, I get a warning: "A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?"
This prompt is in response to the large number of viruses which target your Calendar. You will see this message when SyncPak attempts to update events you have downloaded. This message is only precautionary, and in no way does SyncPak inflict damage on your Calendar. As the prompt indicates, you should select 'Yes' if you would like SyncPak to update information in your Calendar.
Syncpak never seems to update my data in my Outlook
This could be for many reasons. First there may be not updates available. If you know there are updates available, is your SyncPak icon in your Windows tasktray blinking ? If your SyncPak icon in your Windows task tray is blinking then there is an update available, now you must get it. To get an update after the SyncPak icon is blinking, double click on the blinking icon and select the SyncPak you wish to update. Then click on the Update button.
Do I have to double click on the blinking icon whenever i want an update
No, under Preferences (hit the right mouse button over the SyncPak icon in the Windows task tray) you can check the Auto Import SyncPaks box, if you are using Outlook this will automatically download and import the SyncPak data.
I have installed SyncPak/Mobile, now how do i run it ?
After you install the program on your PocketPC, you can access the SyncPak program by launching your PocketPC Calendar program. Choose the Tools menu option, then choose SyncPak Mobile.
I installed SyncPak/Mobile Edition but the Menu option to get into it does not display.
If you already have Outlook Calendar loaded into memory when you install SyncPak/Mobile you must either quit and restart Outlook Calendar or reset you PocketPC.
